2017 Annapolis Chocolate Binge Festival

2017 Annapolis Chocolate Binge Festival

The 2017 Annapolis Chocolate Binge Festival is right around the corner!

The Inner West Street Association and the Annapolis Arts District have teamed up again this year to organize this sweet street festival on Sunday December 3rd on the first block of West Street. Proceeds from tickets and donations go to the Annapolis Arts District and We Care and Friends.

The street party gets started at noon with live music and entertainment through 5PM, and when the sun goes down, stop to admire the sparkly Holiday Light Canopy.

If you’ve never been to the Annapolis Chocolate Binge Festival mark your calendar and prepare yourself for a sugar-coated day of family entertainment, holiday shopping and of course, lots and lots of tasty chocolate.

Chocolate Brunch Anyone?

Rams Head Tavern is serving up a few extra special items on their Sunday Brunch menu in recognition of this year’s  Binge Festival.  Grab a fork and dig into a chocolate espresso marinated sirloin steak or swoon over the seared duck breast with white chocolate-grand marnier demi glace or perhaps a salmon wellington accented with a chocolate-raspberry sauce is more your style. Brunch starts at 10AM and is sure to draw a hungry crowd, so reserve a table on OpenTable.comtoday!

Chocolate Walking Tour

Join fellow chocoholics for a sugar coated stroll down West Street where you can connect with 20+ vendors sampling and selling their heavenly treats including: chocolate truffles, caramels, fudge, cookies, cakes, french macaroons, gingerbread houses, cupcakes, pies, brownies and more!

Want S’more Chocolate?

After the chocolate tour, cozy up to the fire pit situated in the middle of West Street, grab a few marshmallows and enjoy a warm gooey s’more. Also if you make a $5 donation, there’s a complimentary hot chocolate waiting for you too at the air stream camper (while supplies last).

Santa Claus is Coming to Town!

Guarantee yourself a spot on Santa’s “Nice List” this year. Jolly ol’ St Nick will be at the Chocolate Festival and is collecting toys, coats and hats for the area’s homeless and kids in need.

Shop till You Drop

Cross a few names off that holiday shopping list and support local artisans selling wide variety of handmade jewelry, pottery, candles, wood turnings, ornaments, clothing and more.  Skip the big box stores and buy from local merchants on December 3rd!

Dinner and a Movie

When the Chocolate Binge Festival wraps up at 5PM duck into Reynolds Tavern for a screening of the hit movie Chocolat starring Johnny Depp or wrap up the day at Chesapeake Brewing Company’s  Chocolate & Beer Infused dinner event (menu and ticket detailshere.).
