Held in the Sailing Capital of the World, the Annapolis Crab Feast is headed back to Maryland’s state capital. Hosted by the Annapolis Rotary Club, the 73rd annual Annapolis Crab Feast at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium is arguably the world’s most massive crab feast as well as a major fundraiser that benefits the local community and cultural organizations.
Head to Annapolis this August 3rd, and discover why it’s earned the nickname Crabtown! Not only will guest be able to indulge in the largest male crabs the Chesapeake Bay has to offer, but Crab Feast goers can expect an all you can eat buffet of the hometown favorites. Savor Maryland’s famous crab soup, sweet Maryland corn on the cob, beef barbecue sandwiches, all-American hot dogs, draft beer, assorted sodas and water, and watermelon served by the Regional Watermelon Queen. Try not to get too crabby and save room for a little dessert! Finish your fest with a tasty sweet treat from the bake sale and cake raffle. With so many of our upcoming Sturbridge Homes communities in Annapolis, Severn, and Hanover, this festival is a must attend!
The Rotary Club is expecting nearly 2,500 people to attend and finish off 320 bushels of crabs, 3,400 ears of corn, 100 gallons of crab soup, 1,800 hot dogs, 150 pounds of beef barbecue, and hundreds of gallons of soft drinks and beer. The event will be held rain or shine, as most of the tables are protected from the weather.
