For grocery shopping, you have plenty of options (some are even walking distance from our newest townhouse community, the Towns at Parke West!). Sam's Club, Aldi and Walmart are less than a 5-minute drive away.
Places for Health Care and Emergencies
It's important to know where your family can get immediate care in an emergency. Here are just a few of our favorite options:
UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center, part of the University of Maryland Medical System, is one of the largest facilities nearby. The highly acclaimed Johns Hopkins and Mercy Medical in Baltimore are only about 20 minutes by car.
There are also urgent care centers, like Patient First. And Walgreens Pharmacy is just a few blocks from the Towns at Parke West.
Places to Have Fun
When you've got everything set up, turn to some ways to unwind and enjoy your new community.
There are several great parks nearby for families with children and pets, or those who just want to enjoy the fresh air! Queenstown Park, Severn-Danza Park, and Friendship Park are some of the closest for an afternoon stroll or some playtime.
If you want more to do just a bit further away, head North to Baltimore for a great day trip. Home to the famous Inner Harbor, Orioles Stadium or Ravens Stadium, several museums, and shopping and dining galore — there's no end of things to do!
And head South to Annapolis for even more fun! The home of the US Naval Academy is rich with history and home to several fantastic restaurants and boating excursions.
