When the warm weather hits, there’s nothing better than an outdoor music festival. From local artists to some of the biggest names in music, these festivals have it all. Here are our top 5 can’t-miss summer music festivals!

Eastport a Rockin’

June 18 at 11am

Back Creek and Second Street in Eastport

Annapolis’ home grown music festival, with four stages featuring 35 local bands playing rock to bluegrass to powerpop to Chesapeake folk to reggae and more!

African American Festival

July 2-3 at 12pm

Camden Yards in Baltimore

This festival is a celebration of African American life, music and culture, with celebrity artists and entertainers, children’s activities, arts, education, and more, as well as two days of music culminating with a performance by Common on Sunday night.

Merryland Music Festival

July 9-10 at 2pm

Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia

The first ever Merryland Music Festival will feature two days of music features bands like The String Cheese Incident and and Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, as well as unique local artisans, philanthropic organizations, and crowd performers.

Downtown Baltimore

Southern Maryland Wine, Jazz, R&B and Funk Festival

August 20 at 9am

Calvert County Fairgrounds in Prince Frederick

This festival features  wineries from around the state, unique retail and food vendors, and a host of local and nationally recognized performers playing, you guessed it, jazz, r&b and funk.
