Fall Farm Fun

Fall Farm Fun

It’s finally starting to cool down and now we have some real Fall weather. It’s the perfect time to visit an apple orchard, get lost in a corn maze, and pick the best pumpkin in the patch. Here are some places in Maryland that you can do those wonderful Fall activities.

Maryland Sunrise Farm, LLC.

This is an awesome farm right in Gambrills with a corn maze! It’s not too far from our Villas at Waugh Chapel Towne Centre Community. Tickets are less than $15 dollars and include admission to an 8 acre Corn Maze, pedal karts, giant slingshot, playhouse, log cabin building, sandbox, tire fun, corn hole, hay jump, kids mini-maze and featured entertainment. You can also pay small additional fees for kids cow train ($2) and hay wagon rides ($4). You can make this into a great day trip for the whole family. Here is a bird’s eye view of their fun corn maze:

Get your game face ready and try and see who can make it out of the maze first!

Heyser Farms

Heyser Farms in Silver Spring has a great apple orchard to check out, not to mention one of the best refreshments to enjoy in the Fall: apple cider. You can even schedule an educational tour to see how their apple cider is made! If that plan doesn’t scream wonderful Fall day we aren’t sure what does. So swing on by in your favorite Fall scarf and flannel and enjoy some apple goodness!

Clark’s Elioak Farm

This farm is right in Ellicott City and has a fantastic pumpkin patch! Grab your Halloween pumpkins here, visit their friendly farm animals, take a hayride, enjoy a pony ride, and a cow train ride. All aboard the all new Enchanted Express Train for a ride around the farm!  Explore their Enchanted Pine Tree Maze, Spookley Hay Bale Maze and all the great Enchanted Forest attractions. Better yet, pack a picnic lunch and stay awhile. On weekends, they boast of having food vendors, face painters, and gem mining to boot! Another great Fall spot, so don’t miss your chance to visit before they close the first week of November.

Apple cider, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, hay rides, and now sweater weather is finally coming around. Fall into Fall and check out one of these great places today!
