It’s officially holiday season in Anne Arundel county! We’ve rounded up some of the best festive events in the area to get you in the holiday spirit.

November 28:

Small Business Saturday at Village at Waugh Chapel and Waugh Chapel Towne Center

Skip the Black Friday crowds and come out on Saturday to shop local. Learn more about Small Business Saturday here.

 

November 28 at 6 pm:

Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Waugh Chapel Towne Centre

Kick off the holiday season on South Main Chapel Way with live musical performances, hot chocolate and a giveaway. See more info on the event here.

 

November 29 at 5 pm:

Lighting of the Annapolis Christmas Tree

Head down to Annapolis for the annual lighting of the tree, where Santa will arrive by horse and carriage along with dancing and carols.

 

December 4 from 6-9 pm:

Ice Cream with Santa at Cold Stone Creamery in Waugh Chapel

With the purchase of a Gotta-Have-It Signature in a waffle bowl, you get a free picture with the big man himself.

 

December 5 from 7 am- 12 pm

Anne Arundel County Holiday Farmers Market

At the farmers market annual Holiday Festival you’ll find a unique assortment of gifts, like handmade items and food.

 

December 12 from 6-8 pm

Eastport Yacht Club Lights Parade at Annapolis City Harbor

More than 70 power and sail boats will be illuminated with thousands of colored lights.

 

November 21, 2015 – January 2, 2016 from 5-10 pm

Lights on the Bay at Sandy Point State Park

Drive through this Christmas light show along the shore of the Chesapeake Bay, with more than 60 displays illuminating the roadway.
