Summer is finally here and after Maryland’s long winter we couldn’t be more thrilled to greet the warmer weather and sunshine with open arms and a fresh pair of sunglasses. 8-13 Paint Annapolis 2015
The Maryland Federation of Art (MFA) is hosting a four-day juried plein air painting competition, attracting artists and art enthusiasts from across the country. This is a free event. Read more.
11 Annapolis Rock The Dock
Annapolis Rotaract Club’s signature event. Enjoy live music, beer, wine, orange crushes and local BBQ. There will also be a photo booth, games, raffles and a silent auction. Proceeds from the event benefit Sarah’s House. Read more.
13-14 Quilts By The Bay
Featuring a display of works from the Annapolis Quilt Guild Members. Also featuring a variety of other handmade items from over 20 vendors. Raffle, silent auction, free demonstrations and kids activities taking place both Saturday and Sunday. Read more.
14 The Great Chesapeake Bay Swim
This 4.4 mile swim near Annapolis is considered one of the most sought after open water swims in the U.S. Proceeds benefit the March of Dimes. Read more.
20 Eastport a Rockin’
Annapolis’s home-grown local musical festival at Back Creek and Second Street in Eastport. This day long festival has lots to offer; 3 stages with over 25 bands performing, local seafood, BBQ, shaved ice and more, full range of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, kids area and family fun activities, vendors featuring local artisans, crafters, non profits and more! 27-28 25th Annual Thunder on the Narrows
Presented by the Kent Narrows Racing Association, Thunder on the Narrows is a speed boat racing event dedicated to promoting the sport of powerboat racing. Read more.

4 Independence Day Celebration
Celebrate America’s birthday by touring the grand Georgian mansion and wandering the paths of the beautifully restored two-acre pleasure garden. Also enjoy the 9th annual naturalization ceremony. Read more.
4 Independence Day Festivities
Parade at 6:30 pm, Naval Academy Band Concert 8 pm, Fireworks 9:15 pm, located in downtown Annapolis.
4 Fourth of July Parade
Hosted by the Shady Side Community Center, begins at 10 am from Cedarhurst Road to the Shady Side Community Center, Snug Harbor Road.

10-11 Annapolis Irish Festival
This festival will feature 3 stages of live entertainment both Friday and Saturday. The festival will also host over 70 vendors, the famous little Leprechaun Land and proceeds benefit the Hospice of the Chesapeake and many other local non-profits. Read more.
12 Revolutionary London Town
London Town’s largest living history day is held in early July to help celebrate America’s Declaration of Independence. Read more.

7 Annapolis Rotary Crab Feast
Annual Rotary Club of Annapolis fundraiser providing food and fun for the entire family. Tickets include all you can eat and drink. Proceeds benefit more than 30 local charities. Read more.
